Privacy Policy

How Rjuhasta Marketing Solutions Pvt. Ltd. collects, uses, and protects information on this website — and how ScopeDesk handles patient data.

Effective date: 15 July 2026 · Applies to rjuhasta.com and the ScopeDesk desktop application

01 Who We Are

This Privacy Policy applies to Rjuhasta Marketing Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("Rjuhasta", "we", "us", or "our"), the company behind ScopeDesk endoscopy documentation software. Our registered office is located in Rohini, New Delhi, India.

We operate the website rjuhasta.com and distribute the ScopeDesk Windows desktop application. For enquiries or channel partner support, contact our authorised partner MB Surgicals at [email protected].

02 Information We Collect on This Website

When you interact with rjuhasta.com, we may collect the following information voluntarily submitted by you:

  • Contact form submissions — your name, hospital name, city, phone number, email address, endoscope/processor details (optional), and any message you write to us. These submissions are processed and stored using Google Workspace services (Google Apps Script and Google Sheets) so our team can respond to you.
  • WhatsApp messages — if you initiate contact via our WhatsApp links, your WhatsApp number and conversation are handled by WhatsApp / Meta under their own privacy policy.
  • Email correspondence — if you email us directly, we retain that communication for the purpose of responding to your enquiry.

We also collect certain information automatically when you browse the website, using the third-party services described below. This may include your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and similar usage data:

  • Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager — to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. Analytics data is collected via cookies and similar technologies.
  • Google Ads & conversion measurement (Google Ads / DoubleClick) — to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and, where applicable, to show relevant ads.
  • Google Fonts — for typography; loading fonts may log your IP address per Google's privacy policy.

These Google services process data under Google's own privacy terms. See Section 07 for details on the cookies these services set and how you can control them.

03 How We Use Your Information

Information you submit through this website is used solely to:

  • Respond to your product enquiry, demo request, or support question.
  • Provide you with information about ScopeDesk relevant to your hospital's requirements.
  • Schedule a compatibility check or live demo call if requested.
  • Process and activate a ScopeDesk licence if you proceed to purchase.

We do not use your contact details for unsolicited marketing, sell your data to any third party, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

04 Patient Data & the ScopeDesk Application

ScopeDesk is designed with patient privacy at its core. All patient records, procedure images, videos, and generated reports are stored exclusively on the hospital's own computer — never on Rjuhasta's servers or any third-party cloud.

Specifically, the ScopeDesk desktop application:

  • Stores all patient data in a local database on the hospital's Windows PC or local network.
  • Does not transmit patient names, images, diagnoses, or reports to Rjuhasta or any external server during normal operation.
  • Operates fully offline after activation — no internet connection is required for day-to-day use.
  • In Enterprise installations with Cloud Sync enabled, data is synchronised between the hospital's own branch locations only, using encrypted connections. Rjuhasta does not access or store this data.
  • Sends only licence validation and software update requests to Rjuhasta's activation server — these requests contain no patient information.

Hospitals are the data controllers for all patient information processed through ScopeDesk and are responsible for compliance with applicable regulations including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and applicable NABH requirements.

05 Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • MB Surgicals (Channel Partner) — your enquiry may be forwarded to MB Surgicals, our authorised channel partner, to facilitate a response or demonstration. They operate under a confidentiality agreement with Rjuhasta.
  • Service providers (processors) — we use trusted third parties to operate the website and our business, including Google (Google Workspace / Apps Script / Sheets for enquiries; Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads, and Fonts) and, where you pay online, a payment gateway to process the transaction. These providers process data on our behalf or under their own terms, and only for the purposes described in this policy.
  • Legal obligation — if required to do so by a valid court order or applicable law in India.

No other third-party sharing occurs.

Payments. When online payment is enabled, card, UPI, or bank details you enter are collected and processed directly by the payment gateway under its own privacy policy. Rjuhasta does not store your full card number or payment credentials on its own systems; we retain only transaction records (such as order ID, amount, and status) needed for accounting and support.

06 Data Retention

Enquiry and contact information is retained for as long as necessary to respond to your request and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of follow-up, not exceeding 3 years. After this period, identifiable contact data is deleted or anonymised.

Licence activation records are retained for the duration of the licence and up to 5 years thereafter for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

07 Cookies & Similar Technologies

This website uses cookies and similar technologies. These fall into the following categories:

  • Essential — required for the site to function and to remember your cookie-notice choice. These do not require consent.
  • Analytics — set by Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure how the site is used (for example, _ga and related cookies).
  • Advertising — set by Google Ads / DoubleClick to measure ad performance and, where applicable, support advertising.

When you first visit, we display a cookie notice linking to this policy. You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies may affect some site features. For more on how Google uses data, see Google's policy.

Browsers may also cache static assets (CSS, fonts, images) as a standard performance mechanism. This is not a cookie and contains no personal data.

08 Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Contact form submissions are transmitted securely. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

The ScopeDesk application stores its local database in the Windows user data directory. We recommend hospitals apply standard Windows security practices — user account passwords, disk encryption where appropriate, and regular backups — to protect locally stored patient data.

09 Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable Indian law, you have the right to:

  • Request access to personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your contact data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Withdraw consent for any future communications.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the details below. We will respond within 30 days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of this website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
